Playing with a thought.

After 7 minutes of meditation and a few good deep breaths, a thought came to me. A pleasant thought that took my focus away from my breathing.

After a little while I noticed my attention drifting. I observed the thought and because it was pleasant I decided to keep letting the thought grow a little, instead of going back to my breathing. The difference was that this time I was an observer and not an actor in my thought. I simply let it grow by itself.

A few breaths later I decided to let go of the thought, but before that I took the freedom to make myself a summary of it for me to keep as a general idea, one that made me happy.

Immediately after letting go of the thought my mind was already drifting.

I was now telling YOU the story you just read. As I saw I was an active actor of this thought I also noticed my head was moving while explaining to you the freedom of playing with a thought I experienced. I smiled at the moment and thought...I need to write this down, then my eyes were wide open.
